We were living in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, when in 1968 we got our first Irish Setter. We originally got her as a pet, but were lucky enough to get her Champion title. We then got our foundation bitch from Betty Crawford, CH Shannon’s Pamela.

Walt wanted an English Setter. So, our first English came from Wraggee Run Kennel in Canada. Over the years, we have had several English and Gordon bitches. We have bred Irish over the years and now have 4 generations.

In 2002 we moved to Barnesville, Georgia and have been doing  field work along with showing our dogs. In our breeding program, we are trying to breed dogs that can do well in the show ring, in the field and also Obedience. To do this, we breed for good movement, temperaments and sound ,healthy dogs.

Walt and I are members in good standing with the Irish Setter Club of America, Irish Setter Club of Georgia, English Setter Club of America, and the Gordon Setter Club of America, The Georgia Pointing Dog Club, The Mid Georgia Sportsman Club, and the Charleston Pointing Dog Club. We adhere to the Irish Setter Club of America’s Code of Ethics and Principals of Integrity. Our dogs have won many awards from the Ft. Lauderdale Dog Club, and the ISC of Georgia.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our fine dogs. Please check back as this website is constantly being updated.
